3 Monz since Oz

Pic above: My gf and I travelling around on a scooter along the east coast of Taiwan during August of this year.

So it's my first blog entry since I left Taiwan in early September and it's been 3 months since I left Australia on July 21st.

I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Australia dearly. Just saw a program on a photographer's (Art Wolfe) journey to the heartland of Oz.......the Kimberlys. I have to say that my favourite place in Oz has gotta be the outback. I find the desert to be extremely mesmorizing. The beaches and coastlines are cool and the animals are pretty neat, but its the arird landscape in the center and the northwest that intrigued me the most. Ironically, I also spent the least amount of time there. Come to think of it, during my 9 months in Oz, I really only dabbled in most parts of Oz.

Saw some pictures of San Diego tonight from my friend's trip there last week and it reminded me a lot of the Aussie coastline on the eastern shore. The sandy beaches, the cliffs, and all the different types of eroded rocks.

I also miss Oz of course because that my special somebody is currently on her working holiday visa there at Alice Springs.

I can't help but to think about Oz all the time.

With all that being said, I'd go back to travel around China and Cambodia in a heartbeat.

Alright, it's back to looking for work and studying for my first aid course/test this Sunday.
ps. look out for this documentary by a fellow Canadian, it's called "Up The Yangtze" http://www.uptheyangtze.com/
